Tree cookies (for cookie press)
1 1/2 cups salted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
scant 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, milk, and vanilla and almond extracts; beat well. Stir together flour and baking powder. Gradually add to creamed mixture, mixing to make a smooth dough. Do not chill. Shape dough into small log and place into cookie press. Press cookies onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until lightly browned around the edges. (for me this is about 8 minutes but the recipe says to bake them for 10-12 minutes). Remove cookies from sheet and cool on rack.
Oreo Cookies (about 24-30?)
1 stick salted butter, melted
bag of chocolate chips
can of sweetened condensed milk
teaspoon of vanilla
crush cookies, mix with melted butter, press into cake pan
mix and melt together can of sweetened condensed milk and half the bag of chips (1 cup), stir in vanilla
pour over cookies
sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips
bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes (check at 10)

Pioneer Woman Chocolate Truffles with Sea Salt

* 8 ounces, weight (up To 9 Oz.) Good Semisweet Chocolate
* 8 ounces, weight (up To 9 Oz.) Good Bittersweet Chocolate
* 1 can (14 Oz) Sweetened Condensed Milk
* 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
* 8 ounces, weight Meltable Milk Chocolate
* Sea Salt
Heat dark chocolates and condensed milk in a double boiler over medium low heat until chocolate is melted. Stir—mixture will have a slight marshmallow texture. Stir in vanilla.
Remove from heat, cover and refrigerate for two hours.
Once chilled, roll in balls, then roll in melted milk chocolate coating. Sprinkle with sea salt or other fine, coarse sprinkles.
