I don't know if I should drink something or eat something or both. I don't feel the urge for either.
I'm not used to thinking of the new year as a time for new beginnings. To me fall always felt like that time, which I'm sure is because of all the years in school. It has stuck with me though.
But if I were going to think of the new year as a time to begin new things, I think I would work on my health first. Work on getting back into better habits. Start the post-holiday detox. Which is hard when there are still Christmas cookies sitting next to me.
