working on waking up

I slept for a long time. Somewhere between 9 and 10 hours. Yay for Friday nights though! It's my one chance to do that each week so I dig it.

Then Saturdays are nice because I tend to have a more normal schedule. At least for that day/night. Saturdays are the only days I have coffee lately too. Which mean I actually feel the caffeine again. For a long time I didn't. Only the headaches when I didn't get it. And Saturday nights I will usually stay up late. If I'm going out, that's the night to do it because I don't end up feeling *as* tired as early. I'm still like an old lady though.

Now I'm just working on feeling more awake and alive and less creaky. And I have water. Good to start hydrating early. Except for work days. That's mostly because I don't feel like having to get up to pee every half hour.

I don't know how I ought to spend today. It's very nice and morning-y out right now. It will probably just be hot later.

I have to announce the winner to my contest today. I only had one entry so that makes that a pretty easy thing. It would have been nice to have more but I was worried I wouldn't have any. So I'm at least doing better than that.
