feeding schedules and stuff

Tiny baby kittens need to eat every 3-4 hours. This is made difficult with me working a 6 hour shift. So I fed them right before I left for work but was stressing about leaving them so long. So I decided to ask at work if I could (at least for the next week or two) leave for about an hour mid-shift and come back and make up the hour. As in, instead of working 7-1, working 7-2 minus the hour I'm gone. They agreed and it was a big weight lifted. I wasn't sure if I ought to ask but they were very cool about it.

I'm going to try to keep them on a 6:30, 10:30, 2:30 schedule. The 6:30 a.m. works out for me to do it right before work and I can leave work for the 10:30 a.m. 2:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. work easily and the 2:30 a.m. means I'll only be getting up once during the night. It means I'll be up later than usual though. That's not going to be fun but I'll manage.
