word use annoyance
Thing brought on by this morning's ballot box: I am annoyed that people use
the words ignorant and stupid as though they are the same word and you can
just pick one based on your whim!

Lady said somthing along the lines of "Blah person knew better. They were
just being bull-headed, ignorant, and stupid."

If you knew better, then BY DEFINITION you're not ignorant!

Well, ignorant and stupid are two different things. Ignorant means you're uninformed; stupid means slow to understand.

But the 'knew better' comment is certainly weird.

The question was asking something about whether you agree if smokers should have to pay more for their health insurance. The woman was saying something like yes they should have to they know better (as in, know that smoking is bad) and are being bullheaded, stupid and ignorant. (Which reminded me that that annoys me.)
