itchy babies, annoying ad

I called the vet today to find out about getting an allergy shot for the babies flea allergy (at least that's what I'm diagnosing). I got them an appointment for tomorrow at 2. I am going to insist on no anal violation.

The poor little things (Biscuit especially) are completely crusted with scabs and Biscuit is usually also moist with spit from licking himself. I can't even really do much combing with the flea comb. I feel bad for them. :(

I'm supposed to pick up Mikale tomorrow when he gets out of school but this appointment might make that difficult. I'll have to call Mary today and see if we can work something out.

There is an ebay ad that my work computer does not like and it makes it stop what its doing until it tells me to stop a script and then I ok it and it's normal again. But I hate going through this process and I've gotten this stupid ad like 5 times already today. Grr.

unnatural hair colors and why I won't be having them any time soon...

I had been waiting to get the chance to ask the big boss about what policy, if any, we might have on hair coloring, specifically unnatural colors. The conversation went something like this:

me: do we have any policy on hair coloring?
him: no
me: what about unnatural colors?
him: what like green?
me: like pink
him:we don't have and specific policy on hair color
me: I'd like to know if I'd get in trouble for doing it
him: I'm not sure that's the image I'd like us to put forth but as far as getting in trouble no, you wouldn't get fired
me: it's something I'd rather know ahead of time wouldn't be well received
him:you won't get in trouble for it but I would prefer you didn't. I say this because you asked. And I'm glad you took the time to ask about this. It really says something about you.

So to me this equals a no. Bleah. he said he would prefer I didn't but if it's something I feel I must do, then it's technically allowable. Bleah.
