forget me nots

tired, date, friday, monster in law

Last night when I went to bed it was still light outside. I woke up a few
times. Once when it started thundering and my grandma made me turn off the
fan and then a few hours later when I woke up too hot and turned it back on.
But I woke up feeling just about as tired as I was the day before.

Today has been pretty quiet. There was only one engagement for me to call on
and i only managed to get ahold of the bride-to-be. The babies that were
submitted were submitted by the mothers so I didn't need to call on those
either.

It doesnt feel like it ought to be Friday already. Not sure what happened to
the rest of the week.

Last night Steve and I went out to dinner and a movie. Aww, a date night!
Except I seem to be incapable of just spending any sort of romantic time
with anyone in the traditional sense and spent all of dinner discussing
biology and psychology and things relating to both.

We went to see Monster-in-law. It had its moments but I don't think I'd
insist that anyone go see it.

realistic?

why is it if someone says somethign positive about themlelves they're conceited and if they something negative, they're suffering from low self esteem?

both parts of that are separate things that make me ranty.

Seriously though, isn't it ok to just be realistic and recognize both good points and bad?
